Matilda Pablo will be graduating in August with a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology with concentrations in Audio Engineering and Music Production. Matilda is currently recording her debut EP in the Kent State Stark Studios that will be released in August. This project reflects her artistic growth developed throughout her studies. Matilda has an internship this summer at Suma Recording in Cleveland and is hoping to one day work full-time in a studio, where she can help other musicians bring their creative visions to life. In addition to her studio aspirations, she plans to continue performing at gigs throughout Northeast Ohio, both as a solo artist and with her band. Matilda has accomplished being on the Dean’s list every semester, has worked as a student supervisor for the Kent State Music Tech Department for two years, and has recorded and released various songs. Not only has Matilda grown into a well-rounded musician but also grown into a more confident and resilient person. She is deeply grateful for the opportunities and challenges that have shaped her into the artist and individual she is today, and she looks forward to the next chapter of her musical journey!
